Tucked away in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, The Country Place Retreat and Conference Center offers you a respite from the hustle bustle of everyday life. Known for years as one of the best retreat centers within 2 hours of New York City and Philadelphia, The Country Place offers facilities and amenities for groups on retreat, gatherings, seminars, and corporate programs or off-site meetings.

Directions:

Because our retreat center is located on a private country road, our address (45 Country Place Lane) is not usually recognized by online mapping systems.  For your convenience, we’ve provided a local map and directions from Interstate 80 at the White Haven/Freeland exit 273.

If traveling on I-80 West:

Take exit 273 (White Haven) At end of ramp turn right on Church Street and go to the first stop sign.

Continue straight on Church Street two more blocks and turn left onto Buffalo Street (at the sign marked White Haven Center). Proceed on Buffalo Street (street name changes to Oley Valley Road) for exactly 3.8 miles where the road will make a 90 degree left turn. At that point, take the road less traveled and make a 90 degree right turn onto a gravel road and stay right for the driveway leading to The Country Place Retreat Center (about 1 block). Park in the first parking lot adjacent to our Main Lodge.  Welcome!

If traveling on I-80 East
