FROM THE NEW YORK AREA

From Newark International Airport: Travel on New Jersey Route 78 West to Route 24 North. Follow Route 24 to Interstate 287 West. Take I-287 West to Interstate 80 West. Follow I-80 West to exit 273 (White Haven). At end of ramp, turn right and go to the first stop sign (corner of Church and Berwick Sts). Continue straight one more block and turn left onto Buffalo Street (at the sign marked White Haven Center). Proceed for exactly 3.8 miles, until you see a large sign with a black arrow pointing left and the road makes a 90° left turn. Do not turn left.  At that point, make a 90° right turn onto a small crushed-rock road; there are several small signs saying “The Country Place Retreat” at the entrance to the road. Continue straight ahead to The Country Place Retreat and Conference Center. You’ll come to a Parking Area. Walk towards Main House and enter at Guest Entrance sign.

From George Washington Bridge: Go West on Interstate 80 towards Delaware Water Gap. Follow I-80 West to exit 273 (White Haven). At end of ramp, turn right and go to the first stop sign (corner of Church and Berwick Sts). Continue straight one more block and turn left onto Buffalo Street (at the sign marked White Haven Center). Proceed for exactly 3.8 miles, until you see a large sign with a black arrow pointing left and the road makes a 90° left turn. Do not turn left. FROM PHILADELPHIA AND POINTS SOUTH

From Philadelphia Airport: Follow signs to airport exit, then immediately exit to Route 95 South towards Wilmington, DE. Continue on I-95 South to I-476 (toward Plymouth Meeting). You will enter the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike (toward Allentown). Exit the Northeast Extension at Exit #95 (the I-80 exit). Go through toll booth, get into center lane and go straight at light. Take I-80 West to exit 273 (White Haven). At end of ramp, turn right and go to the first stop sign (corner of Church and Berwick Sts). From Washington D.C. via I-95 North: From Rt. 295N towards BALTIMORE, take ramp (RIGHT) onto I-895 (Harbor Tunnel Throughway) towards I-895 / Harbor Tunnel Thruway. Merge onto I-95, John F Kennedy Memorial Hwy (Toll Road) toward Maryland. Continue with directions below:

From Points South of Philadelphia via I-95 North: Take I-95 North through Wilmington, DE. Before you reach Philadelphia, take the exit marked I-476 North (to Plymouth Meeting). From Washington D.C. through Virginia: Take VA-7 West toward Leesburg. Take the Leesburg Bypass (US-15 BYP) to US-15 North, crossing into Maryland. Merge onto US-15 N via exit 12B toward Gettysburg. Merge onto PA-581 E/Harrisburg Expressway toward I-83/ Harrisburg/Hershey. Continue onto I-83 N. Take exit 51B onto I-81 N toward I-78/Hazleton/ Allentown. After exit 85, the road splits with I-78 on the right and I-81 on the left. Be sure to bear left and stay on I-81 N toward Hazelton. Merge onto I-80 E via exit 151A toward Stroudsburg. FROM POINTS WEST

FROM SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE AREA

From Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Airport: Exit airport to I-81 South. Continue on I-81 South to Rt. 309 South (Exit 165 - Mountaintop). Follow 309 South to Rt. 437 South. Turn left onto Rt. 437 South and proceed 10.4 miles to Peat Moss Road (across from Murphy's Lumber). Turn right onto Peat Moss Road and proceed 2.3 miles to stop sign. Turn right onto Oley Valley Road and proceed 1.3 miles, until you see a large sign with a black arrow pointing left and the road makes a 90° left turn. Do not turn left. At that point, make a 90° right turn onto a small crushed-rock road; there are several small signs saying “The Country Place Retreat” at the entrance to the road. Continue straight ahead to The Country Place Retreat and Conference Center. You’ll come to a Parking Area. Walk towards Main House and enter at Guest Entrance sign.

From I-81, take Exit #175 (DuPont/Pittston Exit) for the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Northeast Extension, I-476 towards the Poconos and go to Exit #95, (the I-80 Exit).
